This was the mostest fun idea ever! Their school had a pirate book night. The Mayor read a pirate story and they each received a new pirate book. Then the coolest part... they each brought a book to swap. They put their book on the magic table and got a ticket. Later they redeemed their ticket for a
2nd free book. Maybe I am a new mom and this idea has been executed time and again, but I thought it was brilliant and the kids had a blast!
We went to our friends clogging performance (below are all the kids outside the convention center cooling off after a hot and full crowd). Above was our first attempt at a Santa picture this year-it wasn't even the week of Thanksgiving - weird.
These I saw and stole the idea off another random blog I was searching. I am going to make them again with the kids in a few days for our big Thanksgiving dinners, now that I know that they work. We are excited for the holidays!
